- 37 405 was relieved of duties on the Short Set for an exam at the end of July, so 37 419 took it's place on the Short Set while 47 813 lead 37 405 to Willesden Brent DRS from Norwich Crown Point, witnessed myself at Stratford. Pictured to the right is the move described as above on a sunny Friday afternoon in the capital!

- 37 419 and 37 425 were left comfortably at the helm of the Short Set while 37 405 underwent it's exam.
- To much surprise, 37 422 travelled down from Crewe Gresty Bridge to Norwich Crown Point on August 14th and has since taken 37 419's (Which is due to return north anytime soon after the lease presumably ending) place.

- A bit of background information on 37 422; the Class 37/4 loco was overhauled and entered traffic with the company at the beginning of this month. 37 422 entered service in East Anglia on the 15th August.
- Pictured to the right is 37 422 arriving in to Norwich with a service from Great Yarmouth.
That's all concerning the Short Set, now on to Mainline news;

- 90 034 which is painted in DRS livery and is a DBS Class 90, has been in use on London Liverpool Street - Norwich services in the past 2 weeks or so. Pictured to the right is the locomotive on the trailing end of the PretendAbellio at Ipswich.

- An 8 car Class 321 formation (including 321 333) has been operating London to Norwich services this week due to there being a fault on 90 011, meaning AGA are one Class 90/DVT set down.
- One of the MK2's (DRS) has returned to Crewe - thanks to Harry for pointing this out. He also believes there are plenty of spare MK2's on Norwich Crown Point anyway.
- And Finally 3 unidentified MK3's went to Wolverton for repaint. We'll update when we know numbers.
