DEVELOPMENTS
- May 2017: Chilterns Class 121 Bubble Car Units withdrawn from service on the Aylesbury shuttle, replaced by class 165s.
- May 2016: Direct Rail Services locomotives 37407 and 37424 are undergoing a rebuild and overhaul at Railway Vehicle Engineering Ltd. 37413 is to follow after.
- April 2015: 73 961, 73 962 and 73 963 have been released from Watbec's Rail Loughborough facility after being converted to be used on the Scottish Sleepers from later in the year. Seventy new EMU'S (46 three-car and 24 four-car AT200's) are confirmed for the upcoming ScotRail franchise. Colas Rail locos 37 175 and 219 have been moved to Barrow Hill for maintenance before operating the Autumn Rail-head Treatment Trains - the work ideally needs to be completed by September 2015. Andy.
- Spring 2015: 87 002 , 92 018 and 92 033 are re-liveried in to the Caledonian Sleeper's Midnight Teal colour. Also, The seventh Colas 60 to be returned to traffic will be 60 056 - it joins the already in traffic 60 002/021/076/085/087.
- March 2015: Virgin Trains East Coast have began to role out their full new livery onto some of the fleet. 91124, (plus all 9 carriages on the coaching stock) have received it so far.
