Mid-Norfolk Railway Diesel Gala 2016
The Mid Norfolk Railway's Annual Spring Diesel Gala took place on Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April.
A variety of locomotives visited the event, but the main spectacle was of course 41101 and three MK3 carriages, recently overhauled by the owners from The 125 Group. The MK3s come in the form of ex-VirginWestCoast Buffet 10206, SO 12092 and First Class 11074 - as we announced previously.

But this isn't the only event which these will attend, as stated by The 125 Group:
'Nene Valley Railway – Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April 2016 only: 41001 and Mk3s are planned to visit the NVR Diesel Gala, operating passenger services between Yarwell, Wansford and Peterborough NV. This event features a wide range of visiting locomotives, plus hot food and draught ales will be available from the on-board ‘Buffet 125’. St.Philips Marsh Open Day – Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May 2016. Great Western Railway are celebrating 40 years of the HST125 by hosting an open day at Bristol St.Philips Marsh depot, featuring a gathering of locomotives and power cars from operators far and wide, plus pioneer 41001 which will be a static exhibit. Very special power car naming and livery unveiling events make this an open day not to be missed! For more information and to purchase tickets see the Open Day website.'

East Midlands Trains supported the Gala too, by arranging for some of their services to stop additionally at Wymondham, a short walk to Wymondham Abbey for the Railway.
